Yoda was one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66.

Background

Yoda was the first documented Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Yoda was widely regarded as the greatest sentient to ever wield a lightsaber and as one of the most attuned with the Force. Yoda was also one of the longest serving members of the Jedi Order when he died at the age of 900 years. Yoda's species name have never been recorded and there have been only a few other of Yoda's species ever found and they included famous Jedi Vandar Tokare and Yaddle.
