Lego Star Wars is a Star Wars game that recreates the events from the movies and lets you relive them in Lego form. This first game in the series features almost all the characters from the prequel trilogy (Episodes 1-3), and every character featured in the game is unlockable as a player character.

The story of the game follows the events of the prequel trilogy of movies.

It is a platforming game, where every character has his/her own abilities to help you collect items and complete puzzles to progress through the game. It is very kid friendly and parents are encouraged to play along in this "easy to learn" game with their kids.

- Free Play - The feature Free Play allows you to replay levels but with the choice to swap characters unlike with Story Mode. This means you will also be able to access areas you were unable to before in Story Mode. To use any level in Free Play you must first finish it in Story Mode and if it is a level where you are within a vehicle it cannot be played out in Free Play mode.
